Our Scrambled Egg Mix is made with fresh, pasteurised eggs from our farms. Quick and simple to prepare, our versatile Scrambled Egg Mix can be used as a base for quiches, frittatas and baking cakes. It also makes consistently delicious, home style scrambled eggs every time.

Available in boilable 1 or 2 kg pouches for your convenience. We also have a Free Range Scrambled Egg Mix option available (2kg only).

Real easy heating instructions

These instructions are a guide only. Heating times may vary according to the number of items being heated and the power of equipment used. As a guideline we recommend heating products to 65-70°C and serve, or hold at this temperature for a maximum 2 hours. We do not recommend reheating previously heated product.

For optimum taste, reheat from a thawed rather than a frozen state and serve hot.

Our products will reheat with a soft and delicate texture when following these heating instructions.


  1. Thaw in fridge at less than 5°C: 36 hours for 1kg, 48 hours for 2kg
  2. Check the product is properly thawed prior to use
  3. Once thawed, consumer within 3 days

MICROWAVE (based on a 750 watt oven)

  1. Pour thawed product into a microwavable container. No more than 250g (1 cup) at one time
  2. Thawed: HIGH, 1 minute
  3. Frozen: not recommended
  4. Stir with fork, then return for 1 minute
  5. Sit for 30 seconds
  6. Gently fork through to achieve desired consistency


Our Scrambled Egg Mix is Burlodge compatible. For further information please contact customer service on 1300 834 703.


  1. Boil 4L water (1kg) or 8L water (2kg)
  2. Thawed: immerse bag in simmering water, 10 minutes (1kg), 15 minutes (2kg)
  3. Frozen: not recommended
  4. Remove bag and massage to redistribute uncooked egg
  5. Return for 10 minutes or until egg is firm (egg continues to cook for 1 minute after removing from heat)
  6. Gently fork through for desired consistency


  1. Preheat oven to 100°C, 100% steam
  2. Place full bag on metal tray in oven
  3. Thawed: 20 minutes (1kg), 25 minutes (2kg)
  4. Frozen: not recommended
  5. Turn bag over half way through cooking time, and massage product in bag to break it up
  6. Gently fork through for desired consistency
  7. Note: can remove bag and cook in covered gastronorm tray
