Note: This product is already fully cooked.

THAWING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Remove poached eggs from carton. Thaw product in the refrigerator at 0°C – 5°C. Note: Liquid will appear from the product during thawing process. This helps to maintain the moisture of the product during the cooking process.
  2. Product typically thaws in 24hrs at these temperatures, however it is recommended to check that product is properly thawed prior to use.
  3. Once thawed consume within 7 days.

 

HEATING INSTRUCTIONS Please note: These heating instructions are a guide only. Heating times may vary according to the number of items being heated and the power of equipment used.

Microwave (based on an 1100W oven)

  1. Place thawed poached egg in microwave.
  2. Microwave on High for 25 seconds.
  3. For best results only heat one unit of product at a time in the microwave.

 

Combi Oven (cannot be cooked from frozen with this method)

  1. Preheat combi oven to 100 oC and 100% steam.
  2. Place thawed product on tray lined with non-stick baking paper and cook for 4 minutes.
  3. This time is a guide and would vary depending on quantity of poached eggs cooked at any one time
